I've had a wonderful day doing a million little things at home.
I've taken many breaks, but accomplished more than I ever do.
I've cleaned our room, lit the fire and stoked it twice. I've vacuumed downstairs. I've brought down the sewing machines bin and see I need a cord.
I've washed plastic boat toys, filled a feeder and deciding where to hang it, washed and hung two loads of laundry, paid my taxes, moved boards from the deck to under my chair, gotten out the snowblower and had help getting it started. I've picked up my daughter and brought her over. We went for a walk with Russell. I couldn't walk too far and too well today cos I'd done so much housework.
We loaded up their slab boards into the trailer and took them over. The laneway looks much better now and will be easier to snowblow a close car park place side by side.
My backs been screaming but I had to bring in firewood and light the fire again this evening. It seemed like I had to stand all the time. I should've sat on my wheelchair and given my back a break while I did stuff in the kitchen and on the decks.
I still didn't get the lawnmower to start. I brought the snow shovels out. I've moved chairs around on the deck and found a spot for the porch swing cushion.
I put the jopi tipi cover on a bit more. It's too small. I did a bit of tidying up so we can go in the tipi in the winter. Moved the pile of posts to the other pile. Now we have a clear path to the pond and to the lane.
Warm warm warm. I had forgotten how much work it is to bring in wood and load the woodstove!
