I didn't think I should go to church this morning, because I have such a rough cough.
I think the reason my back has been so painful, other than standing, is that I have been coughing so much that it has stretched those muscles badly.
I was going to go just to take Laurie, and do something for somebody else, but then she canceled. So I wasn't going to go because I'm sick. But sometimes I feel fine. Anyway, I have not been to church for three weeks, so I thought I had better go and partake of the sacrament. The sacrament is about the main reason I have to go. No, that's not true, but it is extremely important.
So I did go to church. But I couldn't stay through all of sacrament meeting, I had to get up and go to the car where I could cough and choke all I wanted! So I am on my way home now.
The weather is so dreary, it's like dawn or dusk all the time. I think I really need to sit in front of that sunlight.
Well I made it home. I had to take a little detour and drive through the forest, but when I passed a sign that said no winter maintenance beyond this point, and there was an inch of snow on the ground, I backed up and came on home.
Alida brought the kids over for just a few minutes. I showed my Christmas lights to Desmond and Myer yesterday. We walked all the way around the house three times looking at the lights. They didn't have time to stay long.
After they left the big kids came over for awhile. We got into reclaiming clay and experimenting with ways to do it. It was nice to look up animal tracks together and exchange stories. Her marten and my otters and fisher.
