Bens bridge by the culvert.

September 7, 2018

Friday

I have been whipper snipping the pathway through the stream woods to Ben’s new bridge.

I dragged the branches out and put them in the pile. There’s a nice spot under the cedar now.

Elijah and Maia came down to see us, but I was making the path smoother, running the whippersnipper which scared maya. Silly grandma why did I do that!

I crossed the bridge carrying the whippersnipper, which was like a balance beam. I snipped all the way to the white chair under the Fisdlehead Lane arching cedar. I think it can be trimmed up under here so that this becomes the entrance to the pathway with the little stairs behind it going up onto the taller Kingfisher Lane.

The chain fell off the chainsaw, I guess I was snipping something very tiny.

I feel quite satisfied with what I have accomplished this morning. It’s going to be so nice to have a place to walk in the woods through these woods! This is never been a usable place for us before.

I’m back after having gone to the house and switch the batteries and put the chain back on. It helps if you don’t put chain on backwards.

I’m back down at the Cedar club making it nice and open under here. It’s really looking beautiful! Awesome!

I’ve used up my energy. My fingers hurt and my back hurts. I still have a lot of branches that need to be piled up into the trailer on Kingfisher Lane

I’m using the whippersnipper until the battery dies and I will go up and exchange it. The overhead branches under this nice Cedar are a bit low, so they will have to be snipped later. This tree does give a lot of shade, however
